Anti-back Staining

Anti-back staining agents are essential in the denim washing process to prevent the re-deposition of indigo dye and other impurities onto the fabric during washing. Anti-back staining agents are essential in the denim washing process to prevent the re-deposition of indigo dye and other impurities onto the fabric during washing.

We offer you multiple options: you can order our anti-back staining raw materials and process them in your own factory, or you can choose our blended anti-back staining for direct use.

Anti-back Staining PR-95

  • Special non-ionic hydrophilic Polyester polymer
  • Raw material for Anti-back Staining
  • Special macromolecular structure, it has the function of complexing dye molecules and high dispersion of surfactant, it can ensure the high efficiency of anti back staining effect in application.
  • Long-lasting anti staining ability, has no impact on the elasticity of Spandex
  • Compatible with Enzymes, improve the efficiency of enzyme.
  • You can also blend PR-95 with surfactants, dispersing agent, chelating agent in your own factory to gain more profit.

Anti-back Staining PR-10

Overview

Anti-back staining agents used in denim washing typically contain a combination of the following components:
1.Surfactants:
Surfactants help reduce surface tension, allowing the fabric to release dyes and impurities more easily during the washing process. Non-ionic and anionic surfactants are commonly used in anti-back staining formulations.
2.Dispersing Agents:
Dispersing agents prevent the redeposition of loose dyes and dirt onto the fabric. They keep the indigo dye particles suspended in the wash liquor, preventing them from settling back onto the denim surface.
3.Sequestering Agents:
These agents bind to metal ions, such as calcium and magnesium, present in hard water. By doing so, they prevent the formation of insoluble salts, which can contribute to staining during washing.
4.Chelating Agents:
Chelating agents enhance the washing process by removing heavy metal ions that can affect dyeing and staining. They work by forming stable, water-soluble complexes with these metal ions.
5.Polymeric Compounds:
These compounds help prevent the redeposition of dyes onto fabric by interacting with dye molecules and keeping them in suspension. They are particularly effective in preventing back staining.
6.Defoamers (optional):
In some formulations, defoamers are added to reduce excessive foam formation during washing, which can interfere with the effectiveness of other agents.
These ingredients work together to prevent the unwanted redeposition of dye during the washing process, ensuring that denim fabric maintains a clean and even finish.
